National Immunization Awareness Month

National Immunization Awareness Month is the annual observance held in August to highlight the importance of getting vaccinated for people of all ages. The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority encourages you to ensure that your loved ones are up to date on recommended vaccines. Vaccines are not just for kids! Adults may need vaccines to protect against whooping cough, flu, pneumonia, and shingles. Research consistently shows that healthcare professionals are the most trusted source of vaccine information for patients and parents. Ask your doctor about vaccines that you may need for your age, health conditions, job, and/or lifestyle.
