National Immunization Awareness Month

August is National Immunization Awareness Month. This month the FDHA promotes vaccine usage and would like to remind everyone to stay up to date on their shots.  People of all ages can get immunizations to protect them from diseases. Immunizations can protect against serious illnesses such as hepatitis, measles, and the flu. Getting vaccinated as directed by the recommended vaccination schedule is one of the most important things a parent can do to protect the health of their child. Talk to your doctor about what vaccinations your child should receive. Learn More
