Mental Health Month
The FDHA recognizes May as Mental Health Month. Mental Health is the emotional, psychological, and social well being of a person. Suffering from a mental health illness will affect thinking, feeling, and behavior. There are approximately 10 million adults in the United States living with the challenge of balancing their emotional and mental health wellbeing. There is still a stigma pertaining to mental health. Oftentimes, children and adults do not want to be viewed differently so they masked their emotional and psychological pain which can lead to suicide or depression. To learn more click here.
