The 5th Annual FDHA Health Summit

The Fulton DeKalb Hospital Authority (FDHA), proud owners of Grady Health Systems (GHS) is sponsoring its 5th Annual FDHA Health Summit on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 265 Peachtree Center Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The summit’s theme is “Building a Healthy Community: One Step at a Time”. The purpose of the Health Summit is to build a healthy community by sharing resources and solutions through various workshops, a town hall forum, and wellness screenings.


Members of the press who plan to cover the conference will be required to follow the guidelines below.

1) Traditional media defined as daily and weekly newspapers, traditional broadcast stations with regularly scheduled newscasts and representatives from established Atlanta magazines or radio stations need to check with the summit’s on site press desk and present valid photo credentials. Traditional media reporters will be allowed to cover any session, but only three minutes of continuous audio or video recording is allowed.

2) Representatives from non-traditional media sources, defined as bloggers, newsletter editors/writers, cable hosts and Internet based magazines, should plan to pre-register. The FDHA will require examples of publication, range of distribution and length of operation to receive credentials. No representatives of non-traditional media will be approved the day of the event.

3) No continuous video or audio recordings of any session will be allowed without written FDHA authorization.
