The FDHA Opts to Ignite Change with Support of youthSpark

Sex trafficking of children is a known problem in Atlanta, GA. youthSpark, a non profit organization created in 2000, fights to eliminate the problem. youthSpark is based at the Fulton County Juvenile Court and offers early intervention and youth empowered education services for high risk girls, abused and neglected youth. The organization also sponsors a program giving victims of these crimes a chance to speak for themselves through, youthSpark Voices.

On October 18th the youthSpark holds its annual RUNBIKERUN event to raise money and awareness. It's called the ROUTE TO CHANGE Duathlon and starts at the World Congress Center at 7:30 a.m. The day of awareness features something new in 2014: a 5K run. It will also offer the traditional 15 mile bike ride.

The ROUTE2CHANGE event is chaired by two dynamic community leaders, Lovette Russell and Stephanie V. Blank.
